About me
Shane Sutton is a retired agriculture education teacher and administrator from Elko County. He grew up in the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming on a livestock and farming operation and attended the University of Wyoming for both his undergraduate and graduate studies. Over his 39-year career, he received numerous awards for his Ag Ed programs in Wyoming and Nevada and has traveled the nation promoting career and technical education to government and industry partners. Since retirement in 2019, he and his wife Bobbi frequently visit the southern Oregon coast where they keep their fishing/crabbing boat, enjoy the beauty of the Wapiti Valley in Wyoming at their mountain cabin, and keep up with their grandchildren in Las Vegas and Elko.
