About me
M. Kevin Jones, of Washoe/Pima ancestry, specializes in acrylic painting, pen and ink, and traditional crafts as well as creating silver jewelry. His designs are featured on the Alpine County flag, the Diamond Valley Elementary School mascot, and various Washoe tribal logos, including the logo on the Las Vegas Paiute Tribe Highway 95 overpass. He received his art training through the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. Kevin resides in the Hung A Lel Ti community near Woodfords, California.
