About me
Bill Lowman and his wife JoAnn and family own and operate a 20,000-acre generational ranch in the remote North Dakota Badlands, where they are widely known for their love of and respect for the well-being of their livestock and pets. As a multi-talented visual, literary, and performing artist, and a lifelong leader defending and promoting the cultural heritage that comes with his way of life, Bill has had many unsolicited accolades fall into his lap. His "comeuppance" for his achievements is to continue hard, hard labor and his most cherished accomplishment is continuing to improve the ranch. He has written and illustrated six books of his musings, pens a bi-monthly column in the regional Farm & Ranch Guide, and continues to write new poems.
