When it comes to agricultural wealth, the Golden State has its fair share. Whether you love it or love to hate it, this westest of the western states turns out happy cows and happy artists. An abundance of crops and livestock aren’t the only ranchy riches to be found between the Sierra Nevadas and the Pacific Ocean. Among California’s greatest treasures are gold-dusted songwriter Margo Cilker, jewel of a singer Trinity Seely, and precious musical resource Dave Stamey. This ain’t no fool’s gold.
